Flower in the Sunset
I have a garden. I attempt every year, and my husband makes fun, to grow our own veggies. Every year I pour sweat and time into tilling, planting, weeding, and battling bugs and rabbits. But I don't mind. It's almost like time for me to reflect and it's important to me to spend time outside on the gorgeous sunny days that God gives to us. (It seems like we get few of those here in ATL)
One day after work I noticed my cabbage plants quit growing leaves and were just splitting and flowering. Cabbage season is almost over so I decided to rip it up but before I did I got an awesome photo of these flowers with the light just touching them the right way. I shot this using my Tamron 70-300 which is a 200.00 lens with some macro ability.
